Information you provide
We process account and profile information, birth details, questions, readings, dreams, journal entries, preferences, collections, community posts, and support messages when you choose to provide them. Birth time and location can be especially sensitive, so personal observatory content is private by default.
Information created when you use the service
We keep the calculations, cards, runes, interpretations, reading history, credit transactions, device sessions, and limited technical records needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service. We may record IP address, browser or device information, request identifiers, and security events.
How we use information
We use information to provide requested features, personalize results when you have enabled memory, maintain reading history, process purchases, prevent abuse, provide support, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations. Reflective AI output may use the saved context you have consented to share with the assistant.
Service providers
We use specialist providers for hosting, databases, AI processing, geocoding, email delivery, error monitoring, private media storage, and payments. They receive only the information required to perform their service under their own contractual and security obligations. Card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Psychic Unicorn.
Private media and AI
Customer-uploaded mineral photos are private. The service validates and sanitizes supported images, removes embedded metadata from derivatives, and uses a sanitized copy for an identification request. Results are assistive suggestions, not geological certification, valuation, toxicity, or safety advice.
Your controls
You can edit profile and birth details, disable observatory memory, delete supported saved content, revoke device sessions, or request access, correction, export, or deletion through the contact page. Some records may be retained when required for fraud prevention, financial accounting, safety, dispute resolution, or law.
Security and retention
We use authenticated ownership checks, encrypted transport, restricted service credentials, private object storage, and audit records for sensitive staff access. No system is perfectly secure. We retain data only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, subject to legal and operational requirements.
Children and changes
Psychic Unicorn is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service changes and will revise the date above. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate.
